Working life and inclusion have been discussed to death. How will Runfest Summit stand out?
Runfest Summit aims to engage the audience, challenge established truths, and inspire action.
The goal is to create an arena that challenges how we think about working life and inclusion, while incorporating physical activity as a tool. We want participants to leave feeling energized, hopeful, and with clear ideas they can take back to their daily lives to drive change. A solid, sporty framework from Runfest itself will help make this an unparalleled summit.

Runfest Summit is part of Runfest Norway, a 3-day street running festival in Sandnes.
“This is a dream my brothers and I have had for a long time. Runfest will be a celebration of the joy of running, for young and old, big and small, untrained and experienced. It will be a street running festival and a public celebration where the world's best runners are part of the spectacle, but where everyone can participate, both recreational runners and those who have run a lot before.
Running has given me an incredible amount, and I want us to create an event in Sandnes that runners from all over the world talk about and want to take part in, and which can motivate even more people to lace up their running shoes in the coming year,” says Jakob Ingebrigtsen.

Norway has high rates of absenteeism, increasing mental health issues, and many people excluded from both education and the workforce. Employers struggle to recruit and retain staff. At the same time, we know that physical activity, strong communities, and workplace initiatives can make an enormous difference. Both for people and the bottom line.
Runfest Summit is our answer to these challenges. It's a sporty, knowledge-based, and action-oriented platform where we connect policy, expertise, practice, and sports. We aim to create something that generates movement, both among individuals and within the society we live in.
The conference will be held at various locations in Sandnes city center on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The conference will be of interest to everyone concerned with public health; physical and mental health, prevention, inclusion, innovation, and value creation. There is a limited number of spots.
The Ingebrigtsen brothers, Yngvar Andersen, and Fredrik Solvang make up the core team for the day. We will announce other confirmed names well in advance of the conference.
The conference will be live and in person.
The main language is Norwegian, but Scandinavian and English presentations may occur, depending on the speaker. Translation support will be available.
Runfest Summit is the professional meeting place that kicks off Runfest. A day for everyone who cares about public health and wants to make a difference.Program and ticket prices coming soon
